Language:The official language of Barbuda is English, making communication straightforward for travelers visiting this beautiful Caribbean island.
Currency:The official currency is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar (XCD). However, U.S. dollars are widely accepted in most tourist areas. Credit and debit cards are accepted at many hotels but it’s a good idea to carry some cash for small vendors and local purchases.
Passport Validity:
Your U.S. passport must be valid for the duration of your stay in Barbuda and should have at least one blank page for entry stamps.
Visa Requirements: U.S. citizens do not require a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days in Barbuda. Proof of onward or return travel and adequate funds for your visit may be requested.
